My son was two years old when we started Creative Minds. The facility, staff, security, and personal attention we received during our 4 year stay was impeccable. Carter’s vocabulary, thought process and social skills increased while at preschool, I was amazed with all the activities and creative challenges set forth by their program. The size of the corridors, playground and classrooms were sufficient and never felt overcrowded. If I had to make a choice again as to where I’d send my boy during his crucial years of development, I’m happy to say I’d pick Creative Minds!

As a parent, dropping your child off to daycare can potentially be one of the most stressful things you’ll ever do. However, with my experience, dropping my son off at Creative Minds was one of the easiest and most rewarding things I’ve ever done. When we arrive every morning, my son runs down the hall and is actually excited to see his teacher. I feel as though his teacher has built a personal relationship with him that’s specific to his personality and needs. Every staff member greets him by name as I take him down the hall to his classroom, which makes it all the more inviting and comforting to my son. Creative Minds doesn’t even feel like a child care service to us anymore, they feel like family. My child’s wellbeing and needs have always been put first there, and he comes home every day with new knowledge to share with us! I would highly recommend Creative Minds Preschool.
As an employee, being a caregiver at Creative Minds has by far been the best job I’ve ever had. Creative Minds Preschool has been a large part of our lives or the past 7 year. As an employee, it is one of the most rewarding and fulfilling jobs I could ever have. The families of Creative Minds are amazing. Watching the children grow and fall in love with learning makes my heart so full. The administration and staff are incredibly supportive and encouraging.

The staff at Creative Minds cared for both of my children from 11 months to 5 years of age. My expectations were more than exceeded in terms of the valuable learning skills they gained during their time there. I was confident in the abilities of the staff and comfortable knowing that my children were well cared for throughout each day. In particular, the Pre-K program lead my children to be skilled READERS and CRITICAL THINKERS before they even entered Kindergarten. My family and I truly appreciate each of you for taking us in, almost 3 years ago, as we adjusted to our new life here in Louisiana. For me, being hundreds of miles away from my comfort zone, to leave Rebel with complete strangers, in unfamiliar surroundings, was frightening. With time and the kind gestures from everyone at Creative Minds, I was able to relax.
Not only did Rebel get the individual attention and care she needed for social growth, she also got an education in academics and faith. Each classroom provided the perfect, upbeat, environment for daily lessons while in a classroom setting or while taking multiple field trips. This combination of education was the perfect mix of hands-on-experiment, classroom structure, and lots of fun. No better sound than my little girl’s voice, echoing through the house, singing, `Jesus Loves Me, this I know. `
I want to thank Mrs. Jasmine & Ms. Julie, for the warmth and extra set of arms to hold Rebel tight, comforting her while she adjusted to new surroundings.
I want to thank Mrs. Sheila & Ms. Tara, for the strength and passion to get through those 2’s turned into terrible 3’s.
I want to thank Mrs. Teri and Ms. Bre, for the positive affirmation, reassuring Rebel she can achieve anything her little heart desires.
I want to thank all at Creative Minds, for saying the simple `Good morning` or `Bye Rebel, see you tomorrow` every time we arrived to start our day, or as we were leave for the evening. Those special greetings mean a lot.
Most importantly, thank you ALL, for loving everything about my daughter. For she is a `Rebel`, finding her way as she spreads her wings to fly. Her free spirit and determination can be challenging at times, but your committed efforts, soft smiles, and warm hugs have given her the extra security to soar. You ladies never back down and continue to guide her, and for that, I will always be grateful.

Creative Minds is a very nice and user-friendly daycare. I love and appreciate the diversity of culture with the staff and student body. When we moved to LA I started researching for the best learning centers and found a few that did not meet our expectations. Driving around, we came across Creative Minds and I immediately knew it was the right place for our children. After the tour with Ms. Amy (the owner) she went above and beyond to accommodate us. Since that day we felt welcomed and we knew our children were in good hands. I have so many reasons to love this place, but I will only name a few for parents who like me need to know every detail.
The Staff: The teachers are amazing, loving and you can tell they truly care. We were blessed to have old classroom and she made potty training my son seem like a breeze. She is extremely creative and honest which makes her the best. Ms. Terry and Ms. Amy in the PK-4 classrooms make sure kids are learning their ABC’s but most importantly that they are respectful and care about others. They are the most dedicated teachers! And (last but not the least) Ms. Sheila! The Pre-K-3 teacher who is a fantastic person and loves what she does, showing in every art and craft, song or comment my son makes about her; all the kids love her and parents too!
For families: You will not find a cleaner or better designed structure for children (trust me I have done my research) plus it is safe place! You need an access code to enter the building and the door is really heavy to open from inside, so you can relax knowing your little one will not just open it and run to the parking lot.
This is the best center in Acadiana. It is a great place that instills values while making learning fun! As a parent you know child is in the right place when you can “use” school as a reward. My children enjoy going and always ready to go back to see everyone at Creative Minds, it doesn’t get any better than that!
